Let me sum up…
So I was going to do a great post wrapping up the last of the year, but as a wise man once said, there is too much. Let me sum up.
My wife, The Good Doctor, was laid up for most of the fall with a herniated disc. She had surgery.
I turned 42. My birthday was a few days after her surgery. WooHoo. (EDIT: The Good Doctor wanted me to insert that she did order food for my birthday, and a nice cake from Whole Foods)
Thanksgiving catered by Whole Foods was a good investment in time management…and deliciousness.
Christmas happened. We want it to be simpler next year. Less stuff. More experiences.
Then there was the New Year, and the Super Bowl (loaded tater tots–I made cheese sauce), and Valentine’s Day (heart pancakes and pink milk). Go back for a minute as I am not sure why my kids care about the Super Bowl, but that is another story.
As I have been living life I realized “Hey, these could be good blog posts, I should get on that.” Although I am not big on resolutions, I guess I resolved to work more on my blog. When I started the blog I didn’t expect to become a full-time blogger who earns his income from blogging, but I definitely won’t if I don’t get going. My only time to really write these days is late at night so I just have to do it.
So in the coming months expect to see more of my whimsical observations, a few product reviews, some thoughts on movies and kids entertainment, and revisit a few of the things I’ve missed. I am hoping that as I write, I will narrow in on a blogging niche that will be useful and a productive use of your time.
So. Summed Up? Let’s just go with that.
